Svenska Margit:  Magritte/Vancouver.  Born 13/11/07

(Available at weaning unless bought with her mother)

Grand Prix Swedish breeding at its finest.  This filly is all quality.  She is by Magritte, imported from Sweden by Emma Youngman. Magritte was a successful Grand Prix horse with both Jan Brink in Sweden and Emma in Australia.  Magritte is half brother to the top dressage horse, Briar.  Her mother is Cloverfern Columbia, a very sweet horse by Vancouver II, again an imported Swedish Stallion.  Vancouver is the star in Kyra Kyrklund’s training tapes, and was brought to Australia by Mary Hanna and campaigned at Grand Prix before being sold to Cloverfern Warmblood Stud where he continued competing and standing at stud. Margit is a lovely filly who constantly impresses me with her sensible and calm nature, together with her beauty and lovely movement.  She is a serious proposition for a rider who wants to truly start from the beginning and nurture and train their own superstar. $9,900 inc GST.

Ambassador Park Alpine

2 year old filly by Aspen out of a Falkland Victory mare.

This filly is elegent and superbly athletic.  She will be a star in eventing or showjumping, but is also attractive enough to be a head turner in the show ring.  She will mature over 16 hands high and has the most delightful temperament.  Well handled, good to float, catch, tie up, lead, rug, worm and have her feet trimmed.  A lovely horse for the future.

Cloverfern Columbia: 8 year mare by Vancouver II.

Columbia is PPT in foal to German sensation Falsterbo (Florestan/Brentano).  She fell pregnant first try with a low dose insemination, and is an excellent mother and breeder.  Despite her smaller size (approx 15.3) she has produced two tall babies in her lifetime, both have inherited her fabulous nature and movement. Very easy to handle in every way.   $7,700 inc GST.

Sunbury Lodge Pixie.  11 year old Donnerheist/Salute mare.

Only for sale because I really need to reduce numbers. This horse is the horsey love of my life. Pixie doesn’t have the most earth shattering movement, but she is forward, honest and has the best work ethic of any horse I have ridden.  She has been a successful dressage competitor up to Elementary, and has all her laterals established.  She still gets muddled with her flying changes – does them perfectly during her elementary dressage tests when she should be counter-cantering, but is late behind in training when I want them.  She has not been in regular work or competed for the last 2 years due to my personal circumstances and lack of time.  She is currently being inseminated with Falsterbo semen.  She will only go to the absolute best of homes and I reserve the right to turn down offers.  $11,000 inc gst. (possibly negotiable – will consider foal for foal arrangement with a reputable stud)
